Why loving yourself is the summit, not the warm-up. My keynote from Impact Week 2026, Singapore.
I opened this talk with my mother. She could not find much in me to love, and I carried her verdicts for decades. I am forty-eight, with a doctorate and a practice, and loving myself is still the hardest thing I am learning to do. The talk is about why that is so hard for almost everyone, where the judging voice was trained, and what changes when you stop waiting for the feeling and treat love as something you do.
